In my assessment, the Dive DCIEM app targets commercial diving operations. It implements the Canadian DCIEM tables and consolidates essential tools for divers and supervisors.

Comprehensive implementation of the DCIEM tables for quick reference and planning
Integrated dive calculator to estimate NDL, no-decompression limits, and decompression requirements
Log sharing: enables sending and emailing dive logs between devices
Live dive mode with real-time deco stop guidance, notifications, and status tracking
Support for onshore and offshore teams, aiding supervision and planning

The project is in an early stage, with plans for a second stage to expand features and improve reliability based on field feedback.

For practitioners considering toolkits for field operations, the app shows potential, though its practical value will depend on continued testing and user experience refinements. Development remains ongoing.
